A subsequent mishap sees Lyria, the Captain, and Vryn overboard, leading to their rescue and a temporary stay in the village of Folca for repairs. Here, the crew meets Rolan, a priest with hidden depths, who guides them through escalating confrontations with the primal beast Furycane and the Church of Avia, revealing layers of intrigue and threats to the Sky Realm.

The narrative deepens as the crew, in their bid to thwart the Church of Avia’s sinister plans, uncovers the truth about Rolan and Lilith’s origins as Astrals stranded in the Sky Realm. Lilith’s ambition to return to Estalucia at any cost sets the crew on a collision course with destiny, leading to battles that span across the Zegagrande Skydom and beyond. As the crew seeks to prevent the sacrifice of Lyria and the destruction of the Sky Realm, alliances shift, and the crew faces their greatest challenge in stopping Lilith’s ritual atop the Pillar of Vayoi. The epic culmination sees the crew battling Bahamut Versa, with sacrifices made and alliances forged in the heat of battle, culminating in a poignant victory and the continued quest for Estalucia, leaving players with a sense of accomplishment and lingering questions about the vast, unexplored realms of the Sky Realm.
